Again, youths protest over insecurity in Kastina

Youths in Katsina state who have taken to the streets again protested again over the spreading insecurity in the state.
The demonstration which happened along Dutsinma – Kankara highway , was in protest of the ravaging banditry and overall insecurity in communities in Katsina state.

Eyewitnesses said the youths had earlier
in the morning blocked the highway with
trees , stones and worn out tyres.
One of the youths who pleaded anonymity said, “We are tired of the activities of the bandits in our communities. We blocked the highway to show our displeasure over the rate of insecurity here .

We want the authorities to be aware of our plight and come to our rescue “.
At the time of filing this report ,it could not be confirmed if the security agencies which later cleared the road for motorist made any arrest.

The Spokesman for the Katsina State Police Command , SP Gambo Isah was not available as at the time of filing this report.
