Buhari to overhaul nation’s security apparatus – Monguno

The National Security Adviser(NSA), General Babagana Monguno (Rtd) on Tuesday revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari has
again expressed his displeasure over the worsening insecurity in the country .

“Buhari is planning an overhaul of the nation ’s security architecture” he said .
Monguno disclosed this while briefing
State House Correspondents on the
outcome of the meeting of the National
Security Council presided over by the president.

According to the NSA, President Buhari stood by his last marching orders that the security chiefs are not doing enough to end insecurity in the country.
“Buhari know that Nigerians have lost confidence in the security sector and he is determined to restore that confidence” Monguno said .
