Court Remands Two UNN Law Students For Allegedly Defrauding People Of N120 Million Via Ponzi Scheme

A Magistrate Court sitting at Enugu has remanded two students of Faculty of Law, University of Nigeria (UNN), Enugu Campus (UNEC), Messrs. Omeje Light and Benjamin Arinze Zion, for alleged Ponzi scheme fraud.

The two students operated under the banner of E-LIFE Series and falsely claimed its Headquarters to be in New York, United States of America.

They allegedly defrauded unsuspecting individuals to the tune of N120 Million through promises of doubling their investments in their business

They were arrested by Enugu State Police Criminal Investigations Department and allegedly admitted that they falsely promised their unsuspecting clients huge profits on their investments with their fake “E-Life Series” platform.

They were remanded pending arraignment at the High Court.
