A member of the Deeper Life Bible Church at Owalusi area of Iwaro Oka in Akoko Southwest Local Government Area (LGA) has been hacked to death.
The woman, simply identified as Mrs. Omode, was said to have been killed by unidentified men in front of the church building.
She was said to have been on her way to sweep the church in preparation for the Sunday service when she was attacked.
The Nation gathered that she was slashed on the neck.
Ondo Police spokesman, DSP Fumilayo Odunlami, confirmed the incident, adding that it was a case of suspected murder.

No one had been arrested in connection with the killing, as of the time of this report.
