Ezioha terror gang bans cultism in Awo-omamma

...Says: “If you can’t fight security forces, your cultism is useless”

About 10 days ago, the terror gang operating from Ezioha community in Mbaitoli LGA, hiding under Biafra agitation, was reported to have stormed a burial ceremony in Umuaka in Njaba LGA and killed no fewer than three persons while inflicting bullet injuries on over 20 persons.

The attack has been linked to a warning by the terror gang to cultists in the area to desist from further activities in the axis as it complicates their operations.

Three persons were killed in that attack including grandchildren of the deceased and one other victim purportedly garbed in cult regalia.

In a recent viral video, one of the terrorists from Ezioha camp, was heard warning the entire Awo-omamma community in Oru-West LGA, that henceforth any cult related activity will attract instant death and burning of the defaulters home.

Awo-omamma in Oru West LGA shares boundary with the Ezioha terror camp just like Umuaka in Njaba LGA does.

In the viral video, the voice of one of the terror kingpins was heard saying, “Henceforth, we have banned cultism in Awo-omamma, anybody that defies this order will die. If we come to your house we do not find you, we will kill you father, mother, siblings and burn your house. If you think we are joking, try us and see for yourself.”

The voice expressed their anger stating that a cult group that is only able to engage in local squabbles and is not able to challenge and fight the security forces parading the community is useless and should end.

He said: “Since you allowed Ebubeagu and other security forces to be parading in Awo-omamma without challenging them, we will kill you if you distract us with your local cult activities.

“We live in the bushes and forests and everyday we face bombardments from jet fighters, yet you have the temerity to be doing cultism in the communities without at least resisting and challenging Ebubeagu Vigilante group in Awo-omamma.”

The kingpin ordered that the cultists in the community should come and submit their guns and axes, as a form of amnesty or there will be consequences.

He listed some alleged cultists as being on their “wanted list”. Such names included: Vita, Nze, Nwaogbungwere and others.

He warned that at the forthcoming burial of a certain ‘Chinaza’ who was reportedly killed in cult related activity, that no cult insignia or activity should be seen or there will be severe consequences.
