When CrimeFacts news searched on Google, What is the purpose of the post highlighting feature on Facebook?

Peo.com answered the above question that on Facebook, highlighting a post refers to a feature that allows you to give more visibility and emphasis to a specific post on your profile or page. When you highlight a post, it stands out from other regular posts and may appear larger or with a different background color, depending on the platform’s design.

According to Peo.com ,here’s what highlighting a post on Facebook can do:

1. Increased Visibility: Highlighting a post can help it get noticed by more people. It stands out in the news feed or on your profile/page, making it more likely to catch the attention of your friends or followers.

2. Emphasis and Importance: By highlighting a post, you can indicate that it contains important information, an announcement, an event, or any content that you want to draw special attention to.

3. Longer Duration: Regular posts on Facebook may get pushed down in the news feed as new content is added. However, highlighting a post can extend its visibility and keep it at the top of your profile or page for a longer period, ensuring that more people see it.

4. Different Appearance: Depending on the platform’s design, a highlighted post may appear larger, have a different background color, or be accompanied by other visual cues that make it stand out from regular posts.

It’s important to note that highlighting a post primarily affects its visibility and appearance within your own profile or page. It does not provide any information about who has viewed or interacted with the post. Facebook does not offer a feature that allows you to track who visits your profile.

On Meta , the criteria for Pages monetization are:
1 Go to Meta Business Suite desktop.

2 On the left, click the Monetisation tab to see an overview of your status and Page eligibility.

3 Select the Page that you want to check in the top left drop-down menu.
You will see if you have any monetisation violations in the Status section. You can also see if you have recent violations in the Policy issues tab on the left. If you click on View Page eligibility, you will find more detailed information about your Page’s access to monetisation tools:

4 At the top, you’ll see a list of monetisation tools that you are eligible to use. Click Set up to get started using a tool.

5 Click the arrow to the right of Other monetisation tools to see a list of tools that you aren’t eligible to use at this time. Under each tool, click View criteria to see criteria that must be met in order to use it.

How to check monetisation eligibility for profiles

To find out if your profile is eligible, you must have professional mode turned on.

•Go to the professional dashboard on mobile.
•Go to Tools to try.
•Select Monetisation.

•From here, you will be able to see monetisation programmes and professional tools available in professional mode.

•If your profile is eligible for a monetisation tool, when you select a tool (for example: Stars), you will see prompts to set it up.

•If your profile is not eligible for monetisation, Not yet eligible will appear above the list of monetisation tools. Note: Click on an individual tool to see criteria that must be met in order to use it.

•If you can’t see monetisation programmes under Tools to try, you may reside in a country where monetisation is not yet available.
