Gunmen on Monday reportedly kidnapped passengers in a commercial bus on the Benin-Auchi road in Edo state.
It was gathered that the kidnapping happened ay 11 a.m. between Iruekpen and White section of the road.
Daily Trust also gathered that the kidnappers blocked the vehicles at a failed portion of the road and abducted all the passengers in the bus belonging to a popular transport company.
It was learnt that the kidnappers after forcing the vehicle to stop at a gun point forcefully took the passenger into the bush.
Meanwhile, when contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Chidi Nwabuzor, did not respond to his phone calls.
