HEEF calls for immediate Swearing -In Of Chief Obiora Egbuna

The Housing Estate Elders’ Forum (HEEF), Fegge, Onitsha in Anambra State has called on the Onitsha South Local Government and the Anambra State Housing Authority to immediately swear in the newly elected Chairman of the estate, Chief Obiora Egbuna.

The group after its expanded general meeting analysed the situation and urged all stakeholders to forget the past and move the Estate forward, saying that this is not the time to engage in brick-bat and unnecessary acrimony.

The chairman of HEEF High Chief Dede Uzor A Uzor said in a press statement in Awka that: “It is a time of fostering good neighbourliness with love to move the Estate forward”

The Elders’ Forum urged the members of the community to continue to maintain peace, stressing that they should not allow intruders to cause disunity among them especially those who want to use the opportunity to bring extortionist levies to the community.

They further thanked the Onitsha South Local Government chairman, Chief Joseph Emeka Orji, for his inclusive and purposeful humane leadership which has brought tremendous unity in the local government area.

The forum also advised the leadership of Anambra Housing Authority for their understanding in moving the Estate forward since the situation is a win, win affair for all.
