The Imo state government on Wednesday announced with immediate effect the renaming of Eastern Palm Ogboko University after Kingsley Ozuomba Mbadiwe University, Ogboko.
Crimefacts.news had reported in February how Imo govt recovered the varsity from Rochas Okorocha who claimed it as his private university.
According to Imo state commissioner for information, Declan Emelumba said the change of name is to take effect immediately and all parties that have one dealing or the other with the institution should without delay effect the necessary changes.
