Kidnappers Demand N200 Million Ransom To Release Children Of Ex-commissioner In Zamfara, Others

Kidnappers of two children of the former
Commissioner for Local Government and
Chieftaincy Affairs in Zamfara State, Alhaji Bello
Dankande Gamji, a Civil Defence officer and his
guard have demanded for N200 million ransom
before they release their victims.

A source to the former commissioner told
Tribune Online that the kidnappers made a
phone call to the father of two children on
Wednesday evening that they needed N200
million as ransom.

The source further revealed that when the
former commissioner received the call and hear
of N200 million as ransom, he was said to have
switched off his handset.
