Lightening kills four in Ondo

 

Four persons have been killed by mysterious lightening at Ago Dada, near Ala village/Imafon in Akure North local government area of Ondo State.

The incident occurred on Wednesday when the victims were playing football.

They were said to be farmers from other neighbouring States.

A similar incident occured last year in the area when nine persons were struck and killed by thunderstorm.

Ondo Police spokesman, DSP Fumilayo Odunlami, confirmed the incident and said investigation has commenced.
