Military men invade Ikeja Electricity head office, assault workers

 

The headquarters of Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company has been invaded by military men.

Our correspondent learned that the armed men in military uniform invaded the company opposite MITV in Ikeja, Lagos, at about 7:40 am on Thursday.

As of the time of filing this report, staff and other persons found in the office are being beaten by the armed men.

The reason for the attack is not yet known.

Police have ntervened but the armeb led by a woman refused to bulge.
