One arrested for cultism in Anambra

In order to stem the tide of cultism and other nefarious activities in Anambra State, the Command Anti-Cult Unit in conjuction with Obosi community vigilante had on the Friday arrested one Chukwuemeka Nwokolo alias (small) ‘m’ aged 25years of Umouta village,Obosi in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State following intelligence report.

According to Anambra PPRO, the Suspect voluntarily confessed to be a member of he Appache 2-2 Secret Cult Confraternity

It was also gathered that exhibit recovered in his possession includes one locally made revolver pistol and Six live ammunition following search conducted inside his room.He will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.

Meanwhile,the Commissioner of Police CP John B.Abang thanked “Ndi Anambra” for their cooperation and urged them to sustain the tempo by assisting the Command with actionable intelligence in order to discover authors of crime in the State.

The CP further reassure the public that the command under his watch will continue to protect lives and properties of all the citizens in accordance with internationally acceptable best practises.
