Police Arrest Four Thugs For Illegal Revenue Collection In Anambra

 

The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Echeng Echeng, says the command has arrested four suspects in relation to illegal revenue collection in the state.
Echeng made the disclosure on Friday while parading the four suspects at the police command in Amawabia.

According to him, the ongoing effort to rid Anambra State of all manner of crimes and criminality is yielding enviable results.
The four suspects are Emmanuel Igwe, 20; Chukwudi Obasi, 38; Izuchukwu Enemuwa, 28 and Uchenna Benedict, 28.
According to him, the suspects were arrested Wednesday along the Headbridge, Onitsha while collecting revenue illegally from motorists and other members of the public.
The CP enjoined all law-abiding citizens of ththstate to remain vigilant and continue to support the police through prompt and accurate information.
