Police Arrests Woman Who Flogged 3-year-old To Death

 

The Anambra State Police Command says it has arrested on Chinelo Udogu who allegedly flogged a 3-year-old girl to death and thereafter, dumped her body in the bush.

The incident happened at Amikwo, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The command’s spokesman, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu said “the body of the victim has been recovered and the case transferred to state CID for a discretion investigations.

“The lesson for us to learn is that we should be cautious when angry and desist from going physical when correcting our children.”

A video that trended in the social media said that the suspect had beaten the deceased, who then started convulsing, and died before medical help could be rendered.

The suspect then dumped the body in a bush after realising her maid had died.

In the video the suspect said, “I beat her and she started convulsing so I took her to Kings Hospital. On getting there, she died, so I threw her body here.”
