Sandra Duru is Akpabio’s “Useful Idiot” – Group

The Nigerians Against Fraud Initiative (NAFI) has issued a damning statement labeling Sandra Duru, also known as “Prof Mgbeke”, as a “hired gun” and in her own words, a “Useful Idiot” working for political interests linked to Senator Godswill Akpabio.

In a strongly-worded press release, NAFI accused Duru of fabricating false narratives to exploit the crisis at the Senate while allegedly acting as a mercenary for powerful politicians.

NAFI claims to have uncovered incriminating evidence, including call logs, suggesting a direct link between Sandra Duru and Senator Akpabio. The group questioned her motives, describing her as a “hireling without integrity” whose accusations against Senator Natasha Akpoti and any other public figure, should be dismissed as politically motivated.

“Sandra Duru is nothing but a useful idiot, a gun for hire,” the statement read. “Her so-called activism is a smokescreen for a questionable antecedent.”

The group reaffirmed its support for Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and her female allies, describing them as women of “unassailable integrity.”

NAFI also aligned itself with respected figures like Dr. Oby Ezekwesili and the International Association of Female Lawyers (FIDA), emphasizing their endorsement of Senator Natasha as proof of her credibility.

The group called on President Bola Tinubu, the Director-General of the State Security Service (SSS), and the National Security Adviser (NSA) to immediately investigate Sandra Duru’s activities.

Additionally, the group revealed plans to petition the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and other international agencies, seeking Duru’s deportation over alleged fraudulent activities in the United States.

The statement concluded with a stern warning, declaring that Duru’s days of evading justice are over.

The statement was jointly signed by Nze Clifford Umunna JP (National Coordinator) and Mallam Buni Abubakar (Secretary General).
