South-East Group Condemns Sandra Duru’s ‘False Assertions’ Against Senator Natasha

The South East People’s Progress Initiative (SEPPI) has issued a strong condemnation of Sandra Duru, accusing her of spreading “malicious and calculated lies” to discredit Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and undermine her contributions to the society.

In a press release signed by Mazi Chinedum Obi, SEPPI’s Publicity Secretary, the group asserted that recent revelations by Frances Olisa Ogbonnaya confirm their long-held position that Duru is a “serial schemer” allegedly paid to tarnish Senator Natasha’s reputation.

“We appreciate God’s divine timing in using Mrs. Frances to validate our claims, exposing Sandra Duru’s true nature,” the statement read.

The group dismissed Duru’s social media posts – where she received praise from a few individuals – as “scripted,” alleging that she attempted to bribe others to support her claims while suppressing opposing voices.

SEPPI also reaffirmed its earlier stance defending Senator Natasha, linking its involvement to what it described as unwarranted insults against Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, a respected elder and icon in Igboland.

The group expressed full confidence in Ezekwesili’s judgment and that of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA).

The statement further accused Duru of running an “orchestrated scheme,” allegedly backed by a Senator’s media team, to manipulate public opinion.

“Only those unfamiliar with Sandra Duru’s lying and manipulative nature would believe her claims or the paid endorsements she showcases,” SEPPI declared.

The group urged the public to disregard Duru’s allegations, expressing faith that divine justice would vindicate Senator Natasha and others wrongfully targeted.

“We remain committed to truth and justice,” the statement concluded.

Efforts to reach Sandra Duru for comment were unsuccessful at the time of this report.
