The source said the hoodlums wore assorted charms on their waists, adding they could not survive the shooting power of the military men.

“Those men are animals, they think they can challenge anyone. They are being deceived by their charms. We know the people doing all these things,” the source told The Nation.

When contacted, the Army spokesman, Joseph Akubo, told the Nation, that militants carried out the attack at an Army location in Mgbidi.

He said two of the hoodlums were killed while three soldiers sustained injuries in the clash.

“The much I can tell you is that it happened. The militants came to the Army location at Mgbidi to attack the place but two of them were killed while three of our men sustained injuries.”
