A female student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State, has triggered widespread reactions online after engaging in a physical confrontation with a lecturer who interrupted her while she was recording a dance video.

The incident, which has since gone viral, reportedly occurred within the university premises, drawing mixed responses from students and social media users.

In a circulating video, the young woman was filming a dance clip inside a school hall, seemingly for TikTok.

The lecturer, who needed to pass, tapped her on the back to get her attention and signal her to stop recording.

Subsequent reports suggest that the lecturer requested the student to delete the recording, as his face had been captured in the video.

However, the situation quickly escalated, leading to a violent exchange in which the student allegedly bit the lecturer multiple times.

While the lecturer attempted to restrain her by holding her hands, witnesses claim she became aggressive, tearing his clothes, slapping him, and scratching his face.

Footage of the incident shows the student attacking the lecturer while onlookers watched in disbelief.

Despite efforts to separate them, she continued her assault, causing commotion within the university.

Further reports indicate that the student’s mother is a lecturer in the Engineering department at the institution.

As of press time, the UNIZIK authorities are yet any statement regarding this incident.
