ALERT: Nigeria Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Website No Longer Safe For Visitors

The official website of the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently down as a result of a lack of renewal of its license by the authorities.

This is happening amid the US deportation policy by the Trump administration at its peak.

The website is currently inaccessible when most Nigerians in the United States or other countries may critically need to send complaints to the Nigerian government on issues affecting them.

Checks by CrimeFacts news on Friday night indicated that the website https://foreignaffairs.gov.ng/ was down and inaccessible.

While trying to access it, this reporter got the response, “Your connection is not private. Attackers might be trying to steal your information from foreignaffairs.gov.ng (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).”

At the moment there’s no other alternative to access the website.

A few days ago, the Nigerian government revealed that 201 Nigerian nationals are currently being held in United States immigration camps, with 85 individuals already cleared for deportation.

Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, expressed concerns over the treatment of Nigerians facing deportation and urged the U.S. government to adhere to international conventions that guarantee dignity during repatriation.
