For the second time in a week, Chukwuezze Kingsley (Saraki) a 24 year-old 300L law student in Imo state university (IMSU) was found dead after he went missing on Monday.
It was gathered that Chukwueze Kingsley died after he was hit by alleged stray bullet at Douglas road shootout between the unknown gunmen and security agencies on Monday night
Recall Crimefacts.news had reported how Nwaneri Divine, a 100 level from the department of soil science died after soldiers allegedly shot her last week Sunday night along Okigwe road.
A source told Crimefacts.news that Chukwueze had been missing since Monday after he told his friends he was going to World Bank Owerri to meet his people.
The source said, “recall I posted about Kingsley a 300 level law student who was missing after telling me and other friends he was traveling to world bank by Monday night.
“Efforts have been made to reach him as his phone was switched off. I’ve made investigation all round and even made a graphics to share and find him.
“I feel totally bad to make announcement of my own friend’s death who was allegedly a victim of the Monday night Douglass shooting and was found dead at Last Hope mortuary Umuguma in Owerri, the source lamented.
Chukwueze Kingsley who hails from Oguta LGA until his death was the president of National Oguta student both universities and polytechnics.
When Contracted the Imo state university SUG president, Comrades Arinze Oguike confirmed the incident. He said that investigation is ongoing to reveal the cause of his death.
Orlando Ikeokwu, Imo police spokesperson promised to get back to our reporter soon.
When contracted Imo state university public relations officer, Dr Ralf Njoku also confirmed the death of Chukwueze. He said the institution’s vice chancellor will be communicated to know the next line of action.
