EXCLUSIVE: Edo ACP not dead as reported -Source

The Edo state assistant commissioner of police, Godiri Agabi who was reported to be dead by TheNation newspaper is said to be alive, Crimefacts.News can confirm.

Earlier, Crimefacts.News reported how suspected cultists at Upper Sokponba in Benin on Wednesday last week shot ACP Godiri Agabi.

Also recall on Saturday how TheNation newspaper alleged that ACP Agabi died from gun wounds he sustained from the attack in a Hospital.

However ,A social Media influncer , Osazee Edigin debunked the news of Agabi’s death.

In a post on Facebook which was obtained by Crimefacts.News, he said, ‘Today, we paid a visit to ACP Godiri Agabi at the hospital, the Area Commander of Benin metro that was shot by some criminal elements at Upper Sokponba recently”.

“The Nation Newspaper erroneously reported that he was dead. He is strong and will be discharged soon.”

According to Osazze , A police officer has right to life too.
