OPINION: Nigerian Army has now become too aggressive to forget how insurgency emanated

Ibe Pascal Arogorn

How can Nigeria military become so nub to have moved down the most wanted Bandit in Benue state ,Gana ?

They seem to have forgotten how Bokoharam insurgency ignited in 2009 which is far to go.

Unlike Donald Trump of America who is known for his impenitent chutzpah ,hubris and ego ,Who slept and woke up on 4 January 2020 to assassinate a high ranking General in Iran, Quassen Sulemani who head Iran’s quads forces. Trump may took the decision knowing fully well that USA always had upper hands to Iran in Military Strength and otherwise. .Sulemani who was Cherished by the Iranians for his deed in 1979 Islamic Revolution in Tehran. Trump made blatant insulations that he(Sulemani) murdered Americans in Baghdad Iraq. The world know the Truth ,everybody know Iran would have hit USA hard if they were to be Putin’s Russia .

The Nigerian Security forces on everyday basis under the guise of Buhari led administration slaughtered many Innocent Nigerians but are defensive to Terrorists and Bandits. They have nut seem to fight a fight of their own conspiracy to end insecurity brouhaha in Nigeria.

The leader of Bokoharam,Mohammed Yusuf, Following the July 2009 Boko Haram
uprising, the Nigerian military captured Yusuf
at his parents-in-law’s house. They
transferred him to the custody of the
Nigerian police force. The police
summarily executed Yusuf in public view
outside the police headquarters in
Maiduguri. Police officials
initially claimed either that Yusuf was shot
while trying to escape, or died of wounds he
sustained during a gun battle with the military. Subsequently, The Sect has go on to become the second deadliest terror in the World after ISIS.

It has not become a hidden tale that Military in Nigeria derives unmerited glory in drowning the People who are responsible but the tend to negotiate with attunes of Terrorists .

On 11 Sept. Crimefacts.News reported that Nigerian Army ployed down the a common Militia , Terwase Akwaza
better known as Gana, who is said to be the
most wanted criminal in Benue State. It was gathered that Commander, 4 Special Forces Command,
Doma, Nasarawa State, Major General
Moundhey Ali alleged that Gana was killed at a roadblock mounted by the
army along Gbese-Gboko-Makurdi Road
following exchange of gunfire.

In reacting to incident. Samuel Ortom ,Benue governor revealed that Gana was on his way to surrender When he was liquidated by the Nigerian army. Also the said Militia’s Wife said that he has already repented and wants to serve God. Shouldn’t the natural law of fair hearing be applied ?. In a a country where it conventions in working ,Gana owns every fundamental Rights to be tried in a competent court of jurisdiction before further execution.

Where was the military when he operated almost decades ?. Few days ago ,It was reported on how Gunmen hijacked and coaxed 5 people including a Pastor in Abuja ,It is also reported on how UNIABUJA Students lamented on thet various brawls by Bandits, Abuja been the command post of the Army, Police Air force, Navy and DSS ,have nothing to do to salvage the situation in the FCT .When the country’s Capital and Capitol are yet to be properly secured by Nigeria security forces ,then what will be the serendipity, providence and happenstance of other 36 States in Nigeria.

When Security forces in a country continue act to like cur and poltroon then the territory is liable to jeopardy. perilousness and menace.
