Owing to the consistently inadequate power supply in Africa, a Facebook user, Ogidan Temitope, posted a photo showing many people who were charging their phones at a place over lack of power supply and claimed it was in Zambia.

The Facebook user posted the image in a group named Tunde Ednut.

He shared the photo with a caption that reads, “Current situation in Zambia make e no reach naija o 🤣🤣

The post garnered over 12k reactions, more than 2k, and 2l shares on Facebook.

Verification

According to an image tool for detecting AI-generated photos, Hive Moderation analysis showed that the picture of persons charging phones at a place was an AI-generated photo.
